How do I install MyBuckleMate?

Installation Instructions

Step 1

Press the latch and pull MyBuckleMate apart on that side until it disengages. Repeat on the other side to fully separate MyBuckleMate.

Step 2

Lift up the buckle and slide MyBuckleMate around each side of the buckle as shown.

Step 3

Push the two sides together until they click securely into one another — locking MyBuckleMate in place.

For two adjacent buckles:
Install MyBuckleMate for each buckle as shown. Position so both MyBuckleMates nest together and you can easily utilize both buckles.

Is MyBuckleMate safe?

When properly installed, MyBuckleMate will not alter your vehicle's buckling mechanism. But it won't buckle up your kids by itself! Seat-belt safety is the responsibility of the driver, parent, caregiver and/or passenger of any car. Always defer to your vehicle owner's manual for proper seat belt use. In our cars, we always verify that our kids and all of our passengers are safely buckled, assist them when they need us to, and we hope that everyone else does the same.
